Model Colony, for people who only know the main roads
Model Colony is the green pocket tucked behind Shivaji Nagar, on the way towards Senapati Bapat Road. Most of Pune drives around it rather than through it, which suits the residents fine. The lanes are narrow and shaded, with old bungalows set back behind their gates and low society buildings from an earlier Pune. Deep Bungalow Chowk is the name most auto drivers know, and Chittaranjan Vatika, the garden inside the colony, is where the morning walkers do their rounds.
Because the lanes are calm, the evenings here are calm too. People who book Model Colony call girls are usually living in the area for a while: a rented flat on a long stay, a posting in the city, a family home that is empty for the week. Guests in hotels mostly stay out on the bigger roads and ask a girl to come over from there. Both ways work, and both pay the same rate.
